Royal Society for the Protection of Birds

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) has been working in partnership with the NGOs and Governments of the UK Overseas Territories for over 20 years. Our holistic UKOTs programme covers both the terrestrial and marine environments, working with local conservationists to prevent extinctions, safeguard habitats, strengthen policy and build long-term capacity. Major areas of work include invasive species eradications, protected area designations, site safeguarding, habitat restorations, biosecurity, illegal bird-killing and nature-based solutions. We provide ongoing technical and financial assistance to Territory institutions and work with the Territories to raise their funding and support needs to the UK Government and philanthropic sector.
