One of the sites in the Adopt a Home for Wildlife initiative of UKOTCF & Montserrat National Trust is being used also as an experimental location for reintroduction of the Critically Endangered ‘mountain chicken’ frog – which occurs only on Montserrat and Dominica. Like many amphibians around the world, the survival of this species is threatened by an introduced fungus. Our 9-minute video describes the testing of the experimental manipulation of conditions to help the frogs overcome this.
