Publications for sale

We have been helping governmental and non-governmental conservation organisations in the UK Overseas Territories for over 30 years. At the request of partners in Montserrat and the Turks and Caicos Islands, a series of booklets have been published which bring together the knowledge, experience and of course many photographs of the biodiversity, while providing a product which it is hoped will support local tourism.

The booklets describe where to go birding on and where to view some of the other heritage features. The books contain full colour maps and photos.

In 2016, we added to this collection by partnering with with the Montserrat National Trust to produce:

Birding in Paradise: The Emerald Island of Montserrat

In 2014, we partnered with the Turks and Caicos National Museum to produce a set of 5 booklets for the islands:

Birding in Paradise: Turks and Caicos: Providenciales

Birding in Paradise: Turks and Caicos: Grand Turk

Birding in Paradise: Turks and Caicos: Salt Cay

Birding in Paradise: Turks and Caicos: South Caicos

Birding in Paradise: Turks and Caicos: Middle and North Caicos

Birding in Paradise: Turks and Caicos Islands: The Complete set of 5 books

This was published to make the scientific results of a Darwin Initiative project on biodiversity conservation in Tristan available for use by the island’s school. However, it has also been used for a wider readership can be purchased as a download.

Most of our publications are also available as digital downloads.
When you purchase the download, a unique link is generated for you and sent to your email address. The link can be used to download the book up to 5 times on a number of devices.

In 2016, we also provided a huge amount of resources to Stewart McPherson’s project “Britain’s Treasure Islands”, which included a BBC4 series, lecture at the Royal Geographical Society and book. The book can be purchased through our website, with a donation going towards our work.
